According to Frankenstein Trikes’ owner Frank Pederson, he was approached by Linn County Economic Development Director Dennis Arnold concerning the program and subsequently filled out the application. He found out approximately two weeks ago that his company was a recipient of technical expertise in marketing his businesFrankenstein Trikes manufactures trike kits namely for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles that are smaller, more compact and maneuverable than other trike kits found on the market.
Despite the name, the Kansas Economic Gardening Network has nothing to do with corn, wheat or apples, but rather cultivating a blossoming business to assist it to grow even larger. And, Frankenstein Trikes in Pleasanton was one of 35 to 40 Kansas businesses that will be receiving technical assistance from a $65 million fund provided by the Edward Lowe Foundation, a private foundation created after the owner, Edward Lowe, made a fortune in the development of cat litter.
